Around Akron: The Bomb Shelter
As I mentioned in my last post, the day after Valentine's Day, Reed and I celebrated with the perfect little day-date. We went to lunch and then wandered around The Bomb Shelter. It's a really cool (and big!) Vintage store here in Akron. I have been meaning to go check it out for years. Literally.. years.
Ever since I read about it on Mandi's Blog here. Her post has even better pictures and a great description of the place. Needless to say, I loved it. Reed liked it too.. but I was totally in my element! Gorgeous clothes, home-wares, furniture.. so much fun to browse and get inspired.
We were looking for a retro style piano for our house. How much fun would that be? We're also on the lookout for a cool piece of furniture for the entryway. An antique desk? A funky shelf? A Vintage record player? We are open and excited to find the perfect piece someday. No luck during our day-date but we're not in a hurry.
If you're in the Northeast Ohio area, The Bomb Shelter definitely a must-visit spot.
Hope you had a great weekend!
