I have this thing for Fried Pickles. If they are on a menu, I usually have to try them. I have always loved dill pickles.. and anything fried is good right? With some good ranch for dipping.. love 'em.
Anyway.. I recently decided to try making baked crispy pickles - a healthier version than the fried variety. They turned out soo good and I will definitely be making them again.
Here's what I used:
-A bowl of flour
-A bowl of 2-3 eggs + a splash of milk
-A bowl of breadcrumbs
-About 10 dill pickles
First, preheat your oven to 425. Then, got a pan all prepped with some parchment paper.
Grab a pickle and dip it into the flour first, make sure to cover it all. Then, dip it into the eggs, again, cover the whole thing. Lastly, dip it into the breadcrumbs, make sure not to miss a spot! Once you do all of those steps, lay the pickle onto the lined pan. When all the pickles are done, bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes (check them often!). Serve with some good ranch.
