Easy Baby Headband and Onesie DIY

A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I've been finding some great baby clothes while thrifting. During one of these trips, I found the cutest little Cleveland Browns bloomers. I didn't have any onesies or tops to go with them, however. I got to thinking about how easy it would be to make a customized onesie and headband set out of a thrifted t-shirt. I found a little white onesie for 90-cents and the perfect orange and white striped top with more than enough material for $3.00.

I used a piece of white paper to draw a heart and then traced it onto the t-shirt material. After cutting it out, I hand sewed it onto the onesie. The headband was even easier! I cut a strip (about 2 inches wide) out of the t-shirt and then folded it in half and tied it in a double knot/bow - so simple!

I also have a long sleeved white onesie and lots of leftover material from the t-shirt, so I can make her a fall version as well. Can't wait to make her more customized headband and onsie combos!
