As of this past Sunday, I'm 27 weeks along in this pregnancy! I can't believe we're only about 3 months away from the due date. The past couple of months have flown by and I know May will be here before we know it.
She's the size of a rutabaga (the baby compared to food thing is kind of weird isn't it?) and next week she'll be as big as an eggplant! I haven't had any outlandish cravings.. just more of the stuff I've always liked. And I passed the Glucose test! However, I do have to take an iron supplement, not surprisingly.
I've been trying to lightly exercise at least a few times per week. We have a great home gym set up, so there's really no excuse not to. Because I can't get my heart rate up too much, it doesn't feel like much of a workout.. but I know it's good to maintain some physical activity. I'm lucky that my default lifestyle is pretty active, so I don't feel bad if I don't always make time to exercise.
According to some sources, the third trimester starts at week 27.. so that's exciting that we're at that point!
