25 Weeks

We're at 25 weeks now and the baby is the size of a head of cauliflower. We're relieved because once the baby reaches 24 weeks, chances are they can survive outside of the womb (after a lot of time in the NICU). Over the weekend, we test drove some strollers and we both love the Graco Modes Click Connect. R's parents have generously offered to buy us the stroller, which is so nice of them.

It was fun testing the different options and thinking about baby stuff in general. Right now, the end of May seems like a long time away.. but I know it will come quickly! I go back and forth between willing the time to go by faster and trying to savor the pre-baby time. I can't even wrap my head around how much our lives will change.. and I know when I read that a year from now I'll be thinking: "girl, you had no idea".

I'm back to my pre-pregnancy (mostly) healthy eating habits. Loving fruit and greek yogurt smoothies, avocados, quinoa, tomatoes.. and of course, chocolate.

Have a great Wednesday!

  1. Aw you look fantastic! I'm due mid-May with our first- a GIRL!- and went back and read a few of your pregnancy posts; we have a lot in common with these pregnancies! From gray nurseries with pops of coral, to craving crap like Toaster Strudels- HA! It's so fun to follow the stories of other expecting mamas! HOpe you're feeling well! (and isn't the movement right now just AWESOME?!? I still can't wrap my head around it sometimes)

  3. My husband and I really like the Graco stroller, too (though we're buying a double stroller with two carseats). Also, I had no idea the baby could usually survive if born at 24 weeks. I can't wait till I reach that milestone! Just three more weeks. :)
