Bonus Room

Remember back in April when I posted about The Start of a Cozy Space in our third floor attic? It's still one of my favorite spaces in the whole house.

Back in April, we were using our 3rd floor as the storage and sorting area for the 330 Swap & Shop. Now that all those clothes have happily found new owners (or a spot on the Goodwill racks), we have room for another cozy piece of furniture up there..

The infamous, Craigslist Purple Settee.

When we were living in the duplex last year and didn't have a good spot for it, it went to live at Renee's house for a while. There it lived happily for a few months until we moved into a house with a 3rd floor, and cleared the swap clothes out. Conveniently, by that time Renee was ready to do something else with the area she had it in, so the timing was perfect.

I love this cozy little upstairs space. It's such a nice little bonus area of the house.

This old house has a lot of great features, like the built in drawers and vanity in the attic. It goes well with my love of old things and Vintage pieces.

Happy Thursday!

  5. I love your attic! It really is the coziest place, ever. Except in that damn April heat wave. Actually your whole house is pretty freaking awesome.

  6. GREAT idea!! I need to create my second bedroom into a nice inspirational, organized workroom/office/craft room. Maybe after the holidays :)

  7. At first glance I thought the photo of the room was borrowed from Pinterest or a magazine. This looks incredible! You have such a great eye for home decor. I love that trunk too, I have one exactly like it. My parents used to make us use those trunks when we would travel back and forth from the Middle East. I resented them then but glad I held on to one...they are so expensive now!
