Stripes on Plaid

Top: Thrifted (Vintage), Cardi: F21 (Thrifted), Hat: Thrifted

The top was $1.50 and the Cardigan was $2.90. I wore it with my favorite skinnies and some brown boots, which you can see over on Gina's post (along with some other mixed-print looks!).

As you saw yesterday, using stripes or polka dots when mixing prints works really well because they're not as busy. I also like to throw something in to kind of anchor the whole look together. Something that has a similar tone to both the prints.. which is why I threw in the brown hat.

If you're from Northeast Ohio and follow the 330-Blogger Collective, you may have seen that one of our local Thrifts is having a big 50% off sale this weekend! I'm pretty bummed I'll be at a workshop until 2pm.. maybe they can put aside some Vintage goodies for me? I am a regular after-all.

Have a great Wednesday!
