Emerald

Dress: Thrifted/Vintage, Cardi: Gap (circa 2000), Sweater tights: TJMaxx,
Bracelets: Vintage via Vintage Smith, Boots: DSW clearance

Did I ever tell you that I want to name a future daughter Emerald? It's unique, pretty, my birthstone and how cute is the nickname Em? Nobody else likes it though.. including my husband.

 I still love it.
And I love the color.

These bracelets came from Vintage Smith, one of my best friends' brothers' Vintage Store (got all that?) in Chicago.

In other news, I'm playing around with low-quality pictures today. Just for fun.
And the fact that my good camera ran out of batteries that day. Enjoy!

Have a great start to your week :)

  4. Beautiful! Did you tell your husband that a very cute blogger (Sunday Crossbow) is named that? That's sure to convince him to name your daughter that! haha :P I've actually always loved Amethyst and pretended that was my birthstone and my name.

  12. Aww, Emerald! I love that idea, and that dress! Imagine the middle name possibilities. I vote Pearl...since we're taking RJ completely out of the equation here anyway. ;-)
