Hair Inspiration : Strawberry Blonde

all pictures via pinterest

I get bored with my hair really quickly. I'm also indecisive and impulsive.
All of which leads me to change my hair a lot. I was a brunette in high school and freshman year of college and a blonde after sophomore year of college. A few weeks after graduation, I decided I needed to be taken more seriously in order to get a big girl job, so I dyed it dark chocolate brown. Ok that's not entirely true.. I got sick of visiting the hair dresser every 4-6 weeks when my roots got unbearable.

More recently I've gone red and I really like it. I have a fear of boring and get bored easily.. so the red helps with that. For the past few months I've been doing an auburn red and now I'm thinking I may want to try strawberry blonde.. eventually.

My mousey brown is showing and I really need to decided on a red and fix that today.
We'll see what happens.

Happy Sunday!

  1. I heart red hair! My girls and I all have variations of red. I am thinking of perking mine up though with some strawberry blonde because in the winter months it gets a drabby looking red. Ha. I cannot wait to see whatchya do!

  2. Those are all lovely shades. I think they'd look great on you!

  3. Strawberry Blonde has always been one of my favorite hair colors (not for me, but just as a general rule). I say GO FOR IT!

  4. I wish I could pull off Strawberry Blonde. I love that color :)

  5. I'm indecisive when it comes to my hair too! I've had all variations of brown, different versions of blond -- leading up to platinum, red, ginger red, burgandy, almost black. It's kind of addicting. I really like the red on you.

  6. I get bored with hair colours too, but in the same time I want to stay blond so I'm always looking for new shades!

  7. Love the strawberry blond! So pretty.

You're blog is fabulous. I am a new follower.

  8. Love this color! so pretty :)

  9. Last February I took the plunge and died my hair naturally with Henna. At first because I had light blonde highlighted hair before I ended up with bright orange-y red. Now that my dark blonde roots are growing out my red is turning to a nice auburn and the grays are nice highlights. Henna is time consuming to apply but I really like that it's natural and won't give me cancer someday.

I found you through EBEW today.
