Skinny Jean Refashion

I haven't done a blog-worthy refashion in awhile, so I'm happy to show you my latest project I'm actually proud of. Yesterday I mentioned how I picked these up from the Salvation Army store last week. They were only $2.99 and I loved that they are semi high-waisted. I just didn't like the length and cut.. Easily fixable!

1. Before.. long and bootcut
2. Cut off a little bit from the end
3. Sew down both edges of the pant leg to taper in
-I started about a foot from the bottom.
4. One leg down..
5. Done!

Here's a preview of an outfit from over the weekend that included these jeans...

Stay tuned for the rest of the outfit later this week.. :)

Have a great start to the week!

  1. LOVE the refashion.... I've been meaning to do this to some of my jeans :)

  2. You're a master with that machine of yours! This is great and a good way to really get that custom fit for less! Bravo

  3. Looks ten times nicer after your rework!!

  4. oooooooo great re-fashion! I have wanted to do this so many times but wondered if it would work. I can only hand sew though, no machine.
