Awkward & Awesome: Blue Cardigan and Red Heels

I couldn't decide how to wear this scarf..  at first I tried it tucked in to the belt..

Then I ended up wearing it wrapped..

Brown & White Striped Shirt: Old Navy (Plato's Closet), Scarf: Thrifted, Sunglasses: Target,
Blue Cardigan: The Limited (Consignment), Capris: Macy's, Red Heels: Nine West (Thrifted), Belt: Thrifted

 Awkward:

*I know this has to happen to other people.. you know when you hold the door for one person.. but there ends up being a line of other people, so you just keep holding it.. and pretty soon you're the official 'hold the door open as everyone files out' person.. and although it's a nice thing to do you'd also like to join the people filing out.. but it would be really awkward to just let go of the door.. is it just me?

*The 9 feral cats living outside the duplex we just bought.. I borrowed some traps from my friend to trap them so we can drop them off at a shelter but I still feel bad about trapping them.. wouldn't you? At least they'll get some tuna out of it.

*Realizing the bathroom you're in doesn't have any toilet paper. Is there anything worse?

Awesome:

*My new time saving technique that allows me to get enough sleep and breeze through my magazine stack - read them on the treadmill/elliptical/stairmaster! Genius.

*The way the husband just knows things.. and I can ask silly questions about the moon (hey.. don't laugh.. it's been a long time since Earth Science..) and he knows the right answer.

*Getting to revisit some of my psychology for the presentation I had to give on Saturday.. see, I may not know what's up with the moon but ask me about attachment and social constructivism and we can have a discussion! Or nature vs. nurture.. now those things are interesting.

*Harvie's Haircut:

*Easter coming up! Two words: Reese's. Eggs.

And my favorite of the week... Kittens!

  1. Awww! Harvie looks SO cute! We really haven't ever gone that short with Daphne, but we were JUST talking about it the other night... I love it; he looks great!

I identify with every single one of your awkwards, haha! Especially the door-holding one!

  2. I totally love how you belted that infinity scarf. I have a couple of these in my closet and I've been looking for a way to spice them up a little (and not just wrapping them around my neck all the time). Thanks for inspiration!
